"Mediterranean Night"
-Gluten free option
-Great for beginners, novice cooks and those wanting to expand their flavor profile beyond their comfort zones
-Class length: 2 hours
A few examples of what you will learn:
-How to pan sear a chicken breast and create delicate bites that are never dry and always tender
-How to deglaze a pan to capture all of the flavor left behind from searing
-The effects of lemon/lime juice (acid) in your yogurt sauce (tzatziki)
-How the effects of roasting vegetables create another layer of complex flavor through the caramelization of natural starches/sugars (maillard reaction)
-How wine can transform your dish when appropriately balanced
-To show gratitude to yourself for learning something new and apply it real time in class
Cuisine created:
-Mediterranean chicken w/ tomato, feta, fresh oregano, sumac and tzatziki
-Oven roasted potatoes w/ za'atar
-Oven roasted broccoli and cauliflower w/ cinnamon and cumin
