I was born and raised in Portsmouth, Virginia, spending most of my childhood between Virginia Beach and the quiet stretches of the Outer Banks. Those places shaped me more than I realized at the time. The flavors, the pace, the people. Southern food has a way of sticking with you. It stays in your memory and finds its way back into everything you create.

Before I ever stepped into a professional kitchen, I served in the U.S. Air Force in Clinical Laboratory Science. Eventually I followed a different pull and moved to Boston, trading the lab for the kitchen and committing fully to the craft that had always been calling me.

Today I create private dining experiences that are personal, intentional, and alive with energy. Being named Best of Boston in 2024 and 2025 is something I’m deeply grateful for, but the real reward is what happens around the table. The conversations, the memories, the connection. Every meal becomes part of someone’s story, and that is the part that means the most to me.
