About the Event

Can you believe it? 2020 was gone as quickly as it arrived.

But now in 2021, we are left with the reminder of the growing needs of those facing food insecurity, homelessness and general social inequity. When we look around Boston amongst the shifting skyline, we also see the ever changing face of homelessness which beckons each one of us to "SHOW UP so we may see others in their entirety". Inevitably, what we see is how the face of true need reveals itself in each one of us.

Join Chef Jason and his partner Welley as we create a 6-Course Tasting Menu for you and your guests. Using the freshest ingredients, Chef Jason will seamlessly intertwine the diversity of food and people and reveal how the stereotypes we have related to food can directly impact our unconscious bias in how we treat one another. Providing a seat for everyone at the table is just our first step. Elevating those same voices to impact social change is why we are really here. Because when emotions and food collide, we create amazing memories. Let that collision be what brings us together. So get ready to for an evening of positive vibes, music to make you move and food to nourish your body and soul!

So how will you SHOW UP?

100% of all proceeds go to BAGLY

BAGLY is the Boston Alliance of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgender Queer Youth.

"For many communities, institutional oppression-including racism, sexism, heterosexism, adultism, and classism-can negatively impact health and achievement outcomes. This is most notably true for LGBTQ+ youth who move through the world balancing multiple marginalized identities every day.  As an organization committed to social justice, our advocacy work challenges oppression on an institutional level by identifying and naming the resulting disparities among LGBTQ+ youth".
